“𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀” marked 𝗘𝗿𝗶𝗸 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗸𝗮'𝘀 inaugural contribution to the realm of techno, which displayed his unique take on fast paced, venomous dance music. What began as subtle satire in reference to conspiracy theories, became the distinctive mascot to Erik's fascination for distorted, indescribable and harrowing noises. In his upcoming EP, a sinister and disorderly soundscape is apparent throughout and conveys tones reminiscent of the hardcore genre.
In the opener “𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗔 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗻”, this hardcore influence is understated yet maintains an unpredictable flow throughout. The lust for off-kiltered structure and dynamic
audio is more apparent in the following track “𝗣𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗲𝘀”, as it challenges the listener to enter the depths of experimental hardcore to experience the bliss of aural bondage.

Completing the EP, is two remixes from renowned producers who epitomise the cleavage between techno and hardcore. Both 𝗛𝗮𝘀𝗵𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗲𝘅ø𝘀 bring the release to an aggressive halt,
providing the perfect climax to a chaotic glimpse into the limitless boundaries of hardcore music.

𝘉𝘪𝘰:

𝗘𝗿𝗶𝗸 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗸𝗮 is a Latvian born, Ireland raised DJ / Producer of violent, distorted Electronic music.
Distilling various influences from Industrial Techno to Hardcore, his presentation of Experimental yet aggressive music takes pride in not following any traditional structures. Through the creation of war like, off kilter sounds which evolve constantly throughout his tracks, Erik Burka has created an impressive artillery of audible weapons which are fit to wrestle any warehouse into submission.
Having only started producing last year his unique interpretation of the harder spectrum of Techno music has lead to multiple releases on Insane Industry Recordings, Hard Gang, Talamh Records as well as featuring on Motz in addition to frequenting the infamous Hard Vision YouTube channel with many more releases to come in 2021.

Erik has also recently launched the label 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱, which presented an ethereal blend of Industrial Techno fused with more cinematic, Trance like elements as well as plans
for many harder releases to be seen later this year. With this then, it is clear that Erik's future is not only bright, but distorted.
